Hi, I'm Yashvardhan Singh Pathania

Full stack developer crafting web apps in Himachal Pradesh, India

I focus on turning ideas into functional, user-centered applications with modern tools.

Building with code and curiosity

I'm a full stack developer working across React, Django, JavaScript, and Python. I combine frontend design sensibility with backend logic to create applications that work well and feel right. My foundation comes from hands-on training and real project work. I'm drawn to problems that require both technical depth and thoughtful design—the kind where clean code and user experience matter equally.

  1. AstraClass: Automated Academic Scheduling using Artificial Intelligence

    Publication Jul 2026

AstraClass is an AI-powered academic scheduling system designed to automate the generation of optimized and conflict-free timetables. Uses Artificial Intelligence and multi-objective optimization to efficiently allocate classes, teachers, subjects, classrooms, and time slots. Considers teacher preferences, subject priorities, classroom availability, and scheduling constraints during timetable generation. Aims to minimize teacher conflicts, classroom clashes, overlapping classes, and inefficient resource utilization. Provides an automated alternative to manual timetable preparation, reducing scheduling time and human errors. Focuses on improving resource utilization, scheduling efficiency, and overall academic planning. Demonstrates the practical application of AI in educational technology and institutional timetable management. Published in the Grenze International Journal of Engineering & Technology (GIJET), Volume 12, Issue 2, 2026, pp. 1720–1725.

✨ From idea to international stage — what a journey! ✨ I'm proud to announce that I presented my research paper titled: 👉 AstraClass: Automated Academic Scheduling Using Artificial Intelligence at the International Conference on Sustainable AI for Cybersecurity held at JIMS Greater Noida (April 8–9, 2026) 🎯 Imagine a world where AI eliminates the chaos of scheduling — no clashes, no inefficiencies, just smarter systems. That's exactly what AstraClass aims to solve. 🤖📅 Receiving this Certificate of Presentation is a milestone that fuels me to push further into AI-driven innovation. Thank you to the faculty, peers, and organizers who made this possible. 🙏 If you're working on AI + EdTech, let's connect! 🌐 #AI #EdTech #ResearchPresentation #SmartScheduling #InternationalConference #Innovation #ComputerScience #FutureOfLearning

🚀 I built something. It's rough. It's real. And I need your help to make it matter. Introducing Rent-a-Tutor — an online platform where students can find, book, and pay verified tutors by the hour or month, entirely online. Think of it as the "Airbnb for tutors" — but built by a CS student, from scratch, with zero funding and a lot of late nights. 🔗 Live now (Alpha): https://lnkd.in/gs_zEkEE Here's what it already does: ✅ Tutors create verified profiles (degree/certificate upload) ✅ Students book sessions — hourly or monthly ✅ Integrated payments via Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking) ✅ Auto-scheduled meeting links on payment ✅ Review & rating system tied to real sessions ✅ Admin-managed tutor payouts But here's the honest truth — This is an Alpha version. The core works. But it needs real-world data, real users, and real feedback to grow into something that actually solves the problem at scale. This is where YOU come in 👇 I'm looking for: 🎓 Students — Have you ever struggled to find a trustworthy, affordable tutor online? What stopped you from booking one? 👨‍🏫 Tutors / Educators — Would a platform like this work for you? What would make you sign up? 📊 Edtech Professionals — What data, patterns, or pain points should I be solving that I'm missing? 💼 Investors / Mentors — If you see potential here, I'd love a conversation. Even 15 minutes of your insight is gold. 🛠️ Developers — See something broken, something ugly, something that could be 10x better? Tell me. I'm not here to pitch perfection. I'm here because I genuinely believe affordable, verified, flexible online tutoring can change how students learn — especially in markets where quality guidance is either too expensive or too hard to find. All I'm asking for right now is your feedback, your experience, or your story. Drop it in the comments. DM me. Share this with someone who'd care. Every response shapes what this becomes. 🙏 #EdTech #StartupLife #OnlineLearning #TutorPlatform #AlphaLaunch #BuildInPublic #Django #IndianStartups #StudentEntrepreneur #ELearning #FeedbackWanted #RentATutor

Sometimes we forget that AI is not just a tool — it’s a reflection of how we use it. I tried a simple prompt: “Create an image of how I treat you.” And the result was unexpectedly wholesome. It made me realize something — the way we interact with technology says a lot about us. Respect in, respect out. Curiosity in, creativity out. Now I’m curious 👇 Try this prompt yourself and share what you get. “Create an image of how I treat you.” Let’s see what your AI thinks about you. 🚀 #AI #Creativity #Tech #Innovation #ChatGpt #LinkedInChallenge #DigitalMindset

I recently watched a YouTube video by Harshita Verma ma’am, and she addressed one of the biggest problems in DSA today. DSA was meant to teach us how to think, how to break down problems, and how to build solutions. But somewhere along the way, it turned into another competitive exam. Instead of focusing on understanding and problem-solving, it has become a “fastest finger first” race — who can recognize the pattern quickest, who can type the template fastest, who can memorize the trick. We’re no longer solving problems. We’re speed-running patterns. That shift is dangerous. Real development is not about how fast you recall a trick — it’s about how deeply you understand the logic. Interviews shouldn’t feel like buzzer rounds. Coding isn’t a reaction game. Her video was a reality check. If you're learning DSA right now, I highly recommend watching it. It’s truly insightful and makes you rethink how you're preparing. #dsa
